If attending SonRise has been a tradition for you and your family and friends we encourage you to take that tradition to the next level. You’ve experienced the blessing of SonRise. Why not get involved this year and see the pageant in a whole new way? You’ll be touched by the experience, and the tickets you and your family have used in the past will be available to reach someone who doesn’t yet know the story of Jesus.
SonRise ticket distribution will have a new look this year…it will all be done online.
The ticket release will go live March 24. To keep from overloading the system the tickets will be made available in stages. The 9:00 a.m. tickets will be available to reserve at 9:00 a.m. on March 24, the 9:30 a.m. tickets will be added at 9:30 a.m., and so on until tickets are gone.
If you do not have internet access, come to the Church Office (4829 College Drive East, Collegedale) March 24 at the Pageant time you are wanting and someone will help you. (This is only for those without internet access.)
By reserving tickets you will be provided with unique tickets for each reservation. You will either need to present a printed out ticket or show the ticket on your phone for it to be scanned when entering the Sanctuary. Children 6 and under do not need tickets, but all others will need their own unique ticket to attend the Pageant. Tickets are free, but are required for ALL Pageants and for the ENTIRE Pageant.
Tickets are limited to 8 per family. We encourage you to reserve only the number of tickets you actually plan to use as we want to be able to reach as many in our community as possible with this life-changing story.
The April 16 pageant will begin in the Sanctuary and then continue across the University campus. The first group will leave at 9:00 a.m. and continue in half-hour intervals with the last Pageant beginning at 2:30 p.m. The SonRise experience will take approximately two hours, start to finish. A leisurely walk of about a mile is required. A wheelchair accessible route is available for those who may need it. (Maps will be available at the Information Desk.)
Costumed cast will also require tickets and will be given a ticket by checking in with your scene director SonRise morning. If you'd like to be part of our cast email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
If you are from out of town and wish to explore offering a similar pageant in your area, contact us at email@example.com. We'd be happy to share our resources with you.
