What if I have trouble paying for counseling?

  • If someone is unable to pay the full cost of services, The Collegedale Church Counseling Center offers temporary support to anyone interested in receiving counseling services for a sliding scale fee. Fees are determined by income and family size.  If financial circumstances temporarily change after a client has been screened, you may request to be reassessed to receive a sliding scale fee.

  • Through our offices we host clinical practicum students who are supervised by licensed clinical professionals. For those open to consider working with our clinical candidates their services are free.

  • Through the church offices the pastoral staff have a voucher system in place that is shared to church members to support in paying for the costs of treatment. These vouchers can be shared with other churches in the community and can be provided to individuals and family to help pay for their counseling.

Can I make a payment online?

Yes, you can use the online payment portal to pay for your sessions.

Is Telehealth an option if I live outside of the Chattanooga area?

Yes, telehealth is offered by the counseling center, however, you will need to meet with a counselor who is licensed for your location. For example, there are some counselors licensed in both Georgia and Tennessee. This means if you are outside of their service area then telehealth is likely not an option
