Stanley received master’s degrees in counseling and social work from Andrews University.  His career experience includes working with a wide range of people including individuals, couples, and families, spanning ages from youth and young adults through older adulthood.  He has served acute and chronically mentally ill patients, clients undergoing substance abuse treatment both in-patient and out-patient and patients in hospice care.

For more than ten years Stanley taught in the School of Social Work at Southern Adventist University where he taught courses in counseling, social work, marriage and family, death and dying, human sexuality and family therapy.

He enjoys spending time with his children and grand-children, cooking, playing golf and exploring the world with his lovely wife Rene
