We Need You

The Fall Festival cannot happen without many volunteer hands. We need you! Below you will find ways you can help lighten the load and minister to our Church family:

• Parking Attendants – guide people as they come to park, contact Richard Moody at tennmoodyfamily@gmail.com

• Hay Rides – manage lines and select wagon masters for each ride, contact Jay Cole at jayc@southern.edu.

• Lawn Game Area – help set up, oversee, and take down this area, contact Orlando Hernandez at orlandohernandez@southern.edu.

• Field Area – help oversee this area in the field, contact Kircio Mota at kmota@southern.edu.

• Clean up Crew – help clean up barn at the end of the evening, contact Devon Howard at ddhoward@southern.edu.

Picture a crisp fall evening filled with the smell of fresh-cut apples drizzled with caramel, the crackle of a bonfire, live bluegrass music, and the happy sounds of friends and families laughing and visiting together. It’s time once again for our Collegedale Church Family Fall Festival!

Everyone is invited—children, youth, college students, young adults, families, singles, and seniors! Enjoy an evening designed to bring our entire Church family together for worship, food, music, fun, and fellowship.

Join us Saturday evening, Oct. 24, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Farrow Family Barn, 5767 Tallant Road in Ooltewah.

The Children’s Ministry Development Team is partnering with our Deacons, Deaconesses, Adventurers, Post Collegiates, and Merge and Connect Worship Families to make this a special evening for all ages. We’ll begin our time together with worship, followed by a hot dog supper and plenty of fall fun!

Fall Festival Fun
After supper, enjoy live bluegrass music, hayrides, lawn games, pumpkin decorating, balloon creations, face painting, a special toddler play area, and more!
 

What to Bring
We’re asking families to help with our meal by bringing an item according to the first letter of your last name:

A-G    2 dozen cookies, brownies, or donuts (no nuts)
H-L    2 large bags of Cuties 
M-R    2 bags of washed apples
S-Z    1 large bag/box of assorted single-serve pkg chips
 

Everyone: Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for your family.
There’s something special about spending a beautiful fall evening together as a church family. So mark your calendar, bring your lawn chairs, invite a friend, and come enjoy an evening of faith, food, fall fun, and fellowship!
