What is Group Life?

People who come together on a regular basis for a common purpose led by identified leaders. Groups are a place to assist you in your progress toward full devotion to Christ. Group Life is an intentional environment where you connect, grow, and serve.

GroupLink

At GroupLink we don't place you in a group --
you choose your own.

GroupLink is an event where you will meet and connect with others in your area of town and/or stage of life to start a community group. Community groups are small groups of approximately six married couples or six to twelve individuals that meet weekly in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

They are for students and adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity. Community groups are our primary way to connect, grow, and serve. They are the place where we together explore a life of purpose.

We ask you to initially commit to meet with your group for eight weeks. You will spend that time getting to know each other and doing a short Bible study. At the end of eight weeks, you can choose to continue with your group, or we will help you find another one.

To sign up for the next GroupLink please stop by GroupLife in the Atrium of Collegedale Church and speak with us. We will assist you with a registration form.

A Church of Small Groups

Becoming a Church of Small Groups is a total shift in church philosophy that results in building the church as community. This model of doing church sees the larger community as a network of smaller communities that develop people in Christ.

The pastoral and lay leadership of Collegedale Church desires that we become increasingly intentional in designing and building ministry around a small group infrastructure. It is our prayer and hope that this concept will penetrate every area of the church; that Group Life become the norm, the place where we connect for fellowship, growth, ministry, and mission.

Committed to Community Life

Collegedale Church members who have "Discovered Discipleship" are committed to partner in creating a culture of community that supports small groups as the primary delievery system for leadership development, care, growth, ministry, and mission.
